The FLIR R700 app allows you to control your FLIR R700 backpack radiation detector with your iOS device via Bluetooth. You can display live radiation readings, take measurements, perform identification, share files, and stay aware with vibrating/audible alarm indication.

General stability and bug fixes. 25.2 12/17/2025 Bug fixes for some wired mode features, backpack firmware version 700.24.5 (build 2811) or newer is required to fully fix the bug, contact support for backpack firmware. 24.2 11/12/2024 Added the ability to view and control up to 4 R700 Backpacks that have been paired together in the app. Pleas note to use this version, you need to update your R700 Backpack device firmware to a version newer than 2780. 24.1 10/07/2024 Added ability to use USB tether for communication instead of bluetooth (using the USB-A port on the R700).
